Intense. Thank you for sharing these episodes of your life. Oh, and I am terrible at staying in touch with people who are not part of my daily life.

Peter, from the very first time I read a piece from you, I got a special feeling. It was like we were old friends meeting after a long absence. It was as if we used to run around together when we were young for a couple of golden years and then one of us moved away. It's the style of writing you have, I think. You write honestly, sentimentally and it can be hard, soft, real or touching. Or all of those. You really need to keep writing not only for the good it does you - but for the good it does for all of your old friends like me. - Jim

Jim...this truly touched me. Thank you for your comment. It means more than you know. I will go back to this comment when I'm struggling to get the words down. It's good to call you a friend. Cheers.

I feel like I've lost a lot of people due to being bipolar and I've had it used as a reason not to date me. I'm prone to mood swings and I still rapid cycle daily. I'm medicated though and I think they work as my symptoms still show but nothing like they used to be even if moderate. I was severe at points when my mom thought me living in a group home was the only option. I fought my way out of that though and healed a lot, did the work in therapy but my chemistry doesn't agree still but I trek along. I'm disabled yes, but I get to do what I love now because of it (write & read daily!) (Happy book lovers day btw) and I have an amazing hubs and life partner and together we share a lot so it makes life easier financially. I love your honesty in your memoir writing and I hope next year if you get to read mine you'll find the same type of energy and vibe from my writing as I do with yours. Love this. ❤️🙌

Hey Laura, thanks for stopping by and giving this a read. Sounds like we've had similar experiences with bipolar, although different as well. Glad to know that you've got through some of the hardest parts of the disorder! Thanks as well for the kind words and everything! I will surely give your stuff a read :)
